Ellie's new gal "Kila"

I think of my beloved Kono very often, but know he is in a better place. I will always miss him and his wonderful nature, but I feel good about adopting a shelter dog, Kila, who has helped immensely with the grief healing. She looks and acts so much like Kono (both Huskies), it makes it easier somehow. She's  the sweetest little girl - about 1-1/2 years old and very playful and full of energy.  Interestingly, the similarities help instead of being a sad reminder.
